On Wednesday, our P3 and P4 children enjoyed an exciting and inspiring visit to the Centre for Contemporary Art. During their trip, they explored a range of exceptional artworks, discovering how different artists use colour, texture, shapes, and form to express their ideas.
The pupils then had the opportunity to take part in hands-on creative workshops, where they learned about 2D and 3D shapes through designing and building their own imaginative kites. Their enthusiasm and curiosity shone as they experimented with materials, patterns, and construction techniques.
A special thank-you goes to Sinead and Laura, who guided the children throughout the experience. Their encouragement, creativity, and expertise made the day truly memorable. The children returned to school full of excitement, proud of their creations, and inspired by everything they had seen and learned.
