Although April was a short month in school, our various nurture groups have been enjoying a range of activities to build resilience, confidence, communication and emotional wellbeing. Through playing games together, children have developed turn-taking, cooperation and social skills in a fun and relaxed environment. Bubble mindfulness sessions provided calming moments to pause, focus and regulate emotions, helping children feel settled and ready to learn. Our afternoon groups have been enjoying Lego Therapy sessions. The pupils have worked together to create and problem-solve, strengthening teamwork, communication, language and listening skills. Celebrating birthdays is an important part of our nurture room, helping children feel valued, included and part of our nurture community.
