December in Nursery has been lots of fun! The children enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree and we have been opening our advent calendar every day. They have been creative at the painting table, decorating trees at the art table and also making trees and gingerbread men with their dough. The children have also been developing their pre-writing skills by writing in the sand with candy canes as well as writing their letters to Santa and posting them in our post-box. A great favourite this week was playing with the empty cardboard boxes! The children had so much fun and it was great to watch them using their imagination. To end our week the children all enjoyed making a snowman for snack. They were yummy and very quickly disappeared from their plates!
