Go Red for Ryan Day

Each year the Ryan McBride Foundation Go Red For Ryan on May 5th. This year we were off school on that day and were unable to take part. We will instead be having a Go Red For Ryan Day on Friday 22^nd May.

The Ryan McBride Foundation has been in school all year working with the Primary 5/6/7 children completely free of charge. They have only been able to do this because of the amazing support and donations people make on days like Go Red For Ryan, and we would like to show our appreciation for all their work by raising some money for them.

All money raised goes straight back into their schools’ programme which continues to benefit over 2000 kids weekly and has a positive impact on families, schools and communities and help reduce/remove costs to schools. 

Each child will be given a sponsor form next Monday and asked to raise a few pounds. If every child/family is able to raise just £5, this will go a long way to helping the Foundation continue the work it does with schools like ours, but there is no pressure if you’re unable to collect any money.

Friday 22^nd May will be a non-uniform day, and children will be asked to wear something red to school. This could be a completely red tracksuit or just a nice red bow in their hair, we will leave it up to you. Please do not go out and buy anything especially for this day, just wear whatever you already have. As always, please do not send children to school wearing any team-branded items.
