Turning Winter Chills into Winter Thrills! This week, we turned the chilly weather into a high-flying adventure! Taking advantage of the brisk winds, the children had a wonderful time racing home-made kites across the playground.
Our winter exploration continued as Mrs. Craig froze penguins in "icy ponds," allowing the children to enjoy some indoor skating the following day. We’ve also been getting creative with our arctic friends, using paintbrushes to "skate" the penguins through sand to see what kind of tracks they leave behind.
Our Community Heroes We have now introduced the theme of "People Who Help Us". The classroom has been buzzing with activity as the children step into the shoes of doctors, nurses, hairdressers, and vets. Check out the photos below to see our future community helpers in action!
