Our theme this month has been Winter. The children have been having lots of fun exploring all the different activities in Nursery.
One week there were lots of penguins stuck in the ice and the children thought of lots of ways to get them out - hammering, cutting, warming the ice on the radiator, pouring hot water.... They worked hard until all the penguins were rescued!
The children also enjoyed being eskimos in the Role Play corner and fishing for their tea, as well as dressing up in winter clothes.
This month we have also been focussing on shapes and making models with different materials. Some children even managed to make some shapes using different construction materials.
