Today, we were delighted to be joined by Fiona and her team from Ibuki Taiko. The workshop was kindly funded by the Embassy of Japan in the UK.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our children to learn all about Japan and the differences between our cultures. The children were able to learn some Japanese words as well as take part in Taiko drumming.
After the session in the assembly hall, Primary 5/6/7 had an opportunity to practice their origami skills.
Our hope is that the workshops will inspire our children to learn more about Japanese culture.
