This month in Rainbow Room, the children enjoyed a busy and engaging month of learning, play and connection. During learning time, they explored new skills and ideas while also taking opportunities to relax and regulate in the den. Memory games helped develop concentration, turn-taking and thinking skills, while Chromebook sessions using Scratch encouraged creativity, problem-solving and early coding skills.
The role play restaurant was a big hit, with children practising communication, teamwork and imagination through serving customers and creating menus. Building with wooden blocks inspired creativity and cooperation as the children designed and constructed together. Afternoon, group sessions included Lego Therapy, where the children worked collaboratively to build models, develop social communication and celebrate each other’s successes.
