It was great to welcome the children back to Nursery after the Easter holidays and listen to all their stories. There have been lots of different activities for the children to explore within the classroom as well as in the playground and we have been making the most of the good weather this week. Hopefully it will continue! We are encouraging the children to copy and continue patterns and maybe even try to make their own. Maybe you could point out patterns in the environment and at home and then try to create some with your child. We have also been practicing our cutting skills, using scissors to cut plasticene. The children loved using the Polydron to build tunnels and houses and were able to work together to create their models and then take turns at getting inside them!
