May has been a very busy month in Rainbow Room. We have been learning all about time, numbers before and after, subtraction and how to make block graphs. We have been finding different ways to practise our phonics. The children have enjoyed music activities using the drums and other instruments. Our afternoon groups have been planting and challenged themselves to build marble runs. The highlight of the month was our parent event. The fulltime boys and girls loved having their adults in for the morning and taking part in various art and craft activities and planting sunflowers. We are looking forward to seeing whose sunflower grows the tallest! We have had some birthdays this month and the chocolate cakes were a big hit! We made a den in Rainbow Room for the children to enjoy some chill out time.
