Once again this year, we were joined by our friends from Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Mr Harkin from Oakgrove College brought them over to work with us and our Shared Education partners from Long Tower PS.
Our visitors were a little early, so Emily got everyone doing some Highland Dancing, which was a fantastic experience!
They worked with our Primary 5/6/7 class and the students of Roosevelt High School led the session. Mr Torney talked about the history of our school and of Long Tower, how they were formed and what makes up our logos.
The students from Roosevelt High and Oakgrove then sang us a song before we all joined together in singing ‘Lean on Me’..
The confidence shown by the students leading the session was incredible, and a huge thanks has to go out to everyone who made today possible!
