This afternoon in Primary 6/7 we made pancakes!
We wanted to make them from scratch so Mr Torney went shopping!
First we weighed out and mixed flour, sugar and baking powder (the dry ingredients) in a bowl. Then in a different bowl we mixed melted butter, milk and eggs (the wet ingredients). After that we mixed the wet and dry ingredients together until our pancake batter was ready.
We heated frying pans to a medium heat, added a little butter to our pan and then put on our pancake mix. They were lovely! A big thanks to Miss Harper and Mr Henderson who helped us out during our afternoon of cooking.
