Wow! What an amazing night and a super turnout for our Poppy-making event.
We had so much fun making Poppies together and it was great to see so many people from our wider community. A huge "Thank You" to Mark from New Gate/BCN for helping to organise the evening. Without the tea and biscuits, there is no way we would have been able to work so fast.
We ended up with over 100 Poppies in total and these will now go on to be used in our shared project with New Gate which Mark is leading to create a memorial to the 99 people from The Fountain area who died in WWI.
