Primary 3 & 4 had a super end of year trip yesterday! The sun shone all day and the children had lots of fun. They had a great time in St. Columbs play park; swinging, climbing, sliding and playing. We then had a picnic snack in the shade to cool off.
After snack and a little more play we walked to the Walled Gardens. The children got to have their lunch outside under canopies, they loved the novelty of it. A scavenger hunt was next on the agenda. They were put in teams and had to try find different leaves, flowers and bugs. They had great fun investigating and using their clipboards to tick off what they found.
Finally we got the bubbles out and had lots of fun running after the bubbles, popping them and blowing their own bubbles.
It was a fantastic day from start to finish!
