P3/4 have been thoroughly enjoying their shared education sessions with their friends from Longtower Primary School. It has been a wonderful opportunity to learn together, build friendships, and explore new ideas as a team.
As part of their current topic, “Dealing with Conflict Creatively,” the children have been working collaboratively to understand how conflicts can be resolved in positive and imaginative ways. They have especially enjoyed learning the story of Finn McCool, using it as a springboard to explore characters and storytelling.
Through this, pupils have been developing their understanding of protagonists and antagonists, identifying these roles in different stories and discussing how characters respond to challenges and conflict. It has been fantastic to see their creativity and confidence grow as they share their ideas with one another.
Everyone is now very excited and looking forward to a very special collaborative game creation day with the Nerve Centre at Newgate this May. It promises to be a fun and inspiring experience where the children can continue to work together and bring their ideas to life.
