Over the last 2 days, we have had some fantastic visitors to our school.
Yesterday we had a visit from Music Kin. Anna brought 4 musicians with her, and they let the children experience a wide variety of music. As well as listening, the children learned about how they can be musicians too, taking part through percussion as well as by using their voices to sing. We are so thankful to the whole Music Kin team for coming along to our school and allowing us to experience their workshops.
Today, we put all the dancing skills that Emily has taught us in Highland Dancing into practice, and we had a mini-Ceilidh. Mary explained to us that she was dressed in green because, as spring arrives, all the plants and flowers begin to grow, and we danced to celebrate the growth we see all around us. The children and staff all took part in some fantastic dances, and as you can see by the smiles on their faces, everyone had so much fun!
